Little Shop of Horrors a Huge Success

In Grammar’s latest musical comedy production, Director Ms Elena Sabellico gathered together students from Years 7 to 12 once again to produce a wonderful Senior School Production this year.

With over 100 students in the cast and crew, Little Shop of Horrors showcased the extraordinary breadth of talent among our students.

Students took lead roles not only on stage but also behind the scenes in areas of production, technical production, direction and stage management.

Following the tragic love story of Seymour and Audrey, Little Shop of Horrors shows that even if love doesn’t always win, you can always have a good song and dance routine along the way.

The audience was ‘taken’ to Skid Row to witness the story of Seymour and his mysterious R&B carnivorous plant that had us tapping our feet as we watched it sing for its supper!

In another wonderful collaboration between our Drama, Dance and Music Departments, Director Ms Elena Sabellico worked with VCE Dance teacher Mrs Marion Leith, Choral Director Mrs Crystal Bell and Musical Director Mr Andrew Dale to produce a high quality entertaining performance.
