Letisha Maraltadj – Vocational Award Winner
Letisha Maraltadj (’14) is to be congratulated for winning an Australian Vocational Student Prize for 2014 plus the Australian Award for Skills Excellence in School for 2014.
The Australian Vocational Student Prize recognises Letisha’s outstanding commitment and achievements in the vocational educational and training that she undertook as part of her senior secondary certificate. Letisha’s Australian Award for Skills Excellence in School recognises her training achievements, leadership qualities and commitment to community engagement. She is one of 18 students to receive this award which is a great achievement.

Since completing Year 12 last year, Letisha has chosen to defer enrolment at Victoria University where she will study a Diploma of Community Sports Development. She is currently one of our Gap students as well as being a Mentor in Larritt House. In addition to these roles at Grammar, Letisha is a mentor with the Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience (AIME) operating at Federation University. Letisha joined the Grammar community as part of our Indigenous Student Program for students from Kalumburu WA and Timber Creek NT.
