Academic Scholarships

student Ballarat Grammar offers scholarships for entry into Years 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 in 2011.

Academic scholarships are offered to external students and to students currently attending Ballarat Grammar and are in Years 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10.

 

Academic Scholarships for entry in 2011 will be held on 27th Feb, 2010.

Application Forms will be available on-line from 1st December, 2009.

Applications close on 21st February, 2010.

Tournament of Minds JUNIOR SCHOOL

– for students who will be in Years 5 and 6 in 2011.

  • Quarter, Half or Full remission on Tuition Fees tenable to the end of Year 6
  • Quarter, Half or Full remission on Tuition Fees tenable to the end of Year 12

maths SENIOR SCHOOL

– for students who will be in Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 in 2011.

  • Scholarships offering Quarter, Half or Full remission of Tuition fees tenable to the end of Year 12
  • Boarding Bursaries offering Quarter, Half or Full remission of boarding fees tenable to the end of Year 12
  • A Scholarship or Bursary offered annually to a child of a financial member of the Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association
  • The offer of a Scholarship is made entirely at the discretion of the Headmaster on the basis of the Scholarship examination
  • Scholarships will be reviewed yearly
  • Scholarship holders are expected to participate in the School’s “Ad Astra” program for gifted students
  • Successful candidates who are not already pupils of the School will be expected to enter the School at the commencement of Term 1, 2011, or earlier at the Headmaster’s discretion.
