Learning & Growing

Students enter Senior School at Ballarat Grammar at the commencement of Year 7. As a School, we recognise that students have different learning needs across the six years of the Senior School. The experiences of learning must therefore change to meet these changing needs, yet throughout all aspects of the School, the central concern is continued development for all students

Learning at Ballarat Grammar is a combination of academic, spiritual, physical, emotional and social elements. Success is built upon strong foundations in all these areas; they are interdependent and combine to create a powerful experience of education for our students. The curriculum structures, offerings and experiences aim to reflect these interdependencies

Learning and growing at Ballarat Grammar is more about a beginning than an end point. While many of our students find success in measurable terms, such as VCE results or University admission, the educational experience at Ballarat Grammar is broader than this. Students begin a journey that will last for many years, a journey where they can:

Understand themselves
 Understand others
  Understand their world
Understand how to make a difference
