Grammar Junior School shines at Wakakirri
Grammar’s Junior School performance at Wakakirri has been awarded a State Story Award for Best Motivational Story.
Wakakirri is a national performing arts festival where schools create story-dances that reflect students’ thoughts, ideas and aspirations. These stories are performed in professional theatres in front of the official Wakakirri Panel who are searching for ‘Story of the Year’.
Grammar’s recent achievement qualifies the students to perform again at the Palais Theatre in Melbourne on Wednesday 14 September, 2016. It also places Grammar in the top 3 schools in Division 2 and in the top 10 schools in the state.
We are very proud of our creative Junior School students and congratulations are extended to teachers Callan Lewis and Hilary Hazeldine for their leadership and mentoring.
