Staying calm


Mindfulness is being present and engaged with what we’re doing in the moment, without judgment, bringing an awareness of our thoughts and feelings without getting too distracted by them. Meditation practice helps us to build the skill of mindfulness so that we can then apply it to everyday life, which is especially helpful when faced with challenging or difficult circumstances.
