Our various Support Groups bring together members of the Grammar community to work to support learning across the School.
We come together to support the learning of our children – along the way we have a lot of fun.
Friends of Ballarat Grammar
This group promotes fellowship and communication among past and present parents, friends, students and staff. Friends of Grammar was formed in 2013 through an amalgamation of the Parents’ & Friends’ Network and the Ballarat Grammar Auxiliary.
We help raise funds and are responsible for allocating funds raised through voluntary contributions and fundraising efforts to projects recommended by the Headmaster that support learning at the School. We also provide planning and general support for a range of activities that contribute to the overall benefit of the School and the students including:
- Welcome Picnic
- Prep Parents Dinner
- Year 7 Parents Dinner
- Ballarat Careers Expo
- Senior School Parent-Teacher Interview evenings
This group supports Grammar students to have a positive sporting experience in the School’s Rowing Program. We provide planning and general support for a range of events and activities associated with the Rowing Program including catering, equipment, transport, and fundraising activities.
Friends of Music
This group provides support in many ways for our extremely busy and vibrant Music School. We provide planning and general support for a range of events and activities associated with the Music Program including catering, publicity, transport, music library and fundraising activities.
Boarders’ Parents’ Network
This group was informally established in 1995 and provides contact and support for boarding families.
We warmly welcome interest and support from all current and past members of the School community. For more information on any of our Support Groups please contact us at +61 3 5338 0700 or by email.
