A Star in the Making – Amelia Monk’s Journey on The Voice

Amelia (Milly) Monk (2018)

Earlier this year, Amelia (Milly) Monk (2018) took to the stage on The Voice 2025, flying between Noosa and Sydney to film the TV series. Her Blind Audition earned an impressive four-chair turn, securing her a spot on Team Ronan.

“I made it through four rounds on The Voice from my Blind Audition (a four-chair turn and joining Team Ronan) to the Battles, Knockouts, and finally the Showdowns,” Milly shared. “The pressure really hit in the Knockouts, Ronan had already taken three contestants through to the next round, which meant only one of us could make it through. It was intense, but I sang my heart out and gave it everything I had.”

Making it to the Showdowns was one of the proudest moments of her life. “Standing alongside some of the biggest voices in the competition and holding my own was such an honour,” she said.

A lifelong performer and songwriter, Milly continues to write and record her own music, a passion she first discovered during her time at Ballarat Grammar. Reflecting on her journey, she shared, “A big thank you to everyone at Grammar who always encouraged me to dream big. You were right!” 🌟

The Voice experience has inspired Milly to keep creating and expressing her story through music. With new projects in the works and performances on the horizon, she is excited to see where her musical path will take her next.
