Concerns and Feedback
Ballarat Grammar is committed to being a school where every member of our community, staff and families alike, feels safe to speak up. Our External Feedback System gives staff, parents, and the wider community a clear, confidential way to share concerns or feedback, with the option to remain anonymous.
Every report is taken seriously, reviewed promptly, and handled with care by the right people within our school. Whether it’s a concern, a compliment, or a suggestion, we want to hear it, and we’re committed to acting on it.
Thank you for helping us build a school community grounded in trust and openness.

FAQs
-
Who can provide feedback or lodge a concern?
All members of the Ballarat Grammar community, including students, parents and carers, staff, volunteers, contractors and service providers, alumni, and members of the broader school community.
-
What happens when I lodge feedback or a concern?
For informal and formal feedback and concerns, Narelle Judd, Christian Walter and Grady Snowden will receive a notification, and one of them will be assigned the case, acknowledging receipt within two working days.
The school records the feedback or concern in a confidential register and will begin assessing the information within 10 working days, finalising the outcome as soon as practical.
-
How can I ensure my information remains confidential?
Access to the feedback secure site remains strictly limited, with all information kept confidential within the platform.
If required and with your permission, relevant details of your concern will be forwarded to another senior staff member if they are more qualified to assist you.
-
Can I report anonymously?
Anonymous feedback may not be pursued if the school cannot identify the subject of the concern or there is not enough detail to investigate or resolve it; however, the school will endeavour to pursue all avenues available where possible, especially where child safety or the safety of another person may be compromised.
-
What if I’m not satisfied with the outcome?
If you are unable to resolve a concern through the school’s process, you may seek independent advice and escalate the concern to relevant external bodies.
