Our new 5/6 Centre – Open for Learning!
Our Years 5 and 6 students and staff were thrilled to move into their fantastic new 5/6 Centre building early in March 2022.
The 5/6C is an amazing learning space for our later primary year students, enabling great collaboration and enhanced learning experiences during these important years of school. Mayor, Councillor Daniel Maloney, enjoyed a preview with Headmaster, Mr Adam Heath, and some of our eager students.
Head of Junior School, Mark Warwick, said “the Year 5 and 6 students are already embracing their new space and the wonderful learning opportunities available to them in the Centre. There’s a great sense of respect but also a genuine buzz of energy, as the students get used to their new collaborative spaces.”
The children were very excited to conduct an informal opening ceremony and ribbon cutting, with Ivy Gorman (Year 6) and Hudson Brehaut (Year 6) cutting the ribbon.
We will hold an official opening of the building later in the year.
